Va tech Wabag has bagged an order of USD 165 Million from Russian based Amur Gas chemical complex. Amur gas is Joint venture of Russia largest integrated petrochemical company SIBUR (Russian) with 60% and Sinopec (China)with 40% stake.
The order is for waste water treatment plant with zero liquid discharge(ZLD) facility . The complete facility would be designed to recycle and re use of waste water. Wabag scope is Design, engineering , procurement and supply of equipment , piping, electrical and instrumentation along with civil , structural activity. Wabag will charge extra for supervision activity during erection works.
The zero liquid discharge (ZLD) facility will make the plant less dependent on external body for water requirement.
It is called as Wabag largest order of Oil and Gas sector.
